Job

At Boortmalt, we supply malt to the world, this role is central to that goal. The post holder is responsible for management of our systems and processes associated with exporting malt globally from the UK.

Ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service you will co-ordinate deliveries to maximise On Time, In Full deliveries. You will be customer focused building and maintaining working relationships and ensuring that our export customers are fully informed about the status of their orders.

The role requires a significant amount of planning and co-ordinating. Internally, you will work with cross functional stakeholders to plan shipments in the short, medium and longer term. Externally you will plan and co-ordinate deliveries with carriers and shipping agents and ensure that the appropriate export documentation is in place as required by each customer.

Profile

We are looking for a Logistics professional with knowledge and experience of international shipping activities. It is essential that the post holder is a methodical, well organised person who has the ability to manage each element of this busy role.

Whilst a specific degree is not required a business degree relating to Logistics is desirable.
